CO-OP Shared Branching

La Porte Community Federal Credit Union is a member of the CO-OP Shared Branching. This means an incredible convenience for you. While other financial institutions are busy merging into larger and larger super regional and national corporations, credit unions are maintaining independence with the simple concept of sharing. What does this mean for you? If you like to travel, are away at college or even just live across town from our nearest location, you’ll be able to access your account at over 3,800 other credit union locations nationwide. You can make deposits, withdrawals, transfers, balance inquiries, loan payment transactions, etc. just like you were in the lobby of your own La Porte Community FCU!

Using a CO-OP Shared Branch is easy. Bring in your photo ID and account number to a teller station. (the CO-OP Shared Branch will not look up account numbers) Tell the teller you are a member of La Porte Community Federal Credit Union and you will be able to conduct your financial transactions.

Whether you’re across town or across the country, finding the closest CO-OP Shared Branch is so simple. A credit union that is a member of the CO-OP “Shared Branching” Network will have a CO-OP Logo posted either on their door or in their lobby.

Use the convenient phone locator service to find the nearest center to you. Phone 1-888-SITE-CO-OP and search the directory by zip code or street to receive the address, phone number, operating hours and even driving directions to the branches nearest you.
